USING THE TOOL
A Competitor Map is a visual tool that enables you to better understand your product or service’s position within the market from a specific perspective. This can help you to identify the ways in which you may be ahead of similar companies, or alternatively where you may be lacking.
- Identify: Decide what two criteria are most important to your project, for instance: value to customers or usage fees. 
- Map out: Label the x and y axis with these two criteria and map all competitors accordingly, including where your project lands in comparison to them.
